Method is applicable to many other uses in addition to ship
hulls, corrosion and sonar domes including:
- Defouling power plant cooling systems such as plants for
electricity generation and for powering ships
- Defouing membranes for water purification, recycling waste
water, desalination of seawater
- Deicing of aircraft, autos, roads, pathways and runways
- Defouling underwater communication equipment and pipe
lines
- Defouling of periscopes and other underwater optical
systems on equipment and underwater vehicles
- Release of worn oil well drill bits, while exposing
a new one on command
